Kencom Goes Green!

With severe budget cuts in public schools, learning experiences such as field trips are nearly a thing of the past. Until now.

Daybreak Learning offers video field trips on DVD so that students can experience the excitement and fun of learning new concepts with a field trip - all without leaving the classroom.

Kencom worked with Daybreak President Deirdre Roza to produce the turn-key project. The first in a series, "The Road to Sustainability" videos highlight environmental issues and introduce solutions toward sustainability. The video clip to the right is from a segment on composting.

One of the most important aspects of the project was keeping the subject material fun and interesting as well as informative. Former professional snowboarder Dar Short hosts the videos, keeping the content fresh and young to appeal to a younger audience.
